We have acted for prime contractors, subcontractors and suppliers regarding defence upgrade projects, supply agreements for vessels and heavy equipment, through life support contracts, IT service agreements, teaming agreements and alliance contracts.
We have a thorough understanding of the practical, commercial, legal and policy issues. We are aware of the special probity and confidentiality requirements that apply in this context.
We have acted for a range of local and international clients on bids to deliver supplies and services to the Department of Defence. We are familiar with the contractual models used by the Department and the procurement guidelines. Our work has included preparing and reviewing project documentation, conducting negotiations with the Commonwealth and advising our clients on their legal position and strategic options during the negotiations.
