Prior to working at MolinoCahill, Yannick was a consultant at an infrastructure advisory firm and performed roles which comprised project planning, scheduling and claims management on major infrastructure projects across Australia.

Yannick was admitted to practice in Victoria in 2019.

Recent experience
  • Assisting in advising an EPC contractor in connection with a significant renewable energy project in New South Wales, including in respect of potential claims, disputes, strategic issues, and assisting with day-to-day contract administration matters.

  • Assisting in drafting and advising on settlement deeds for claims arising under a tender services agreement and a design services agreement in relation to a renewable energy project in New South Wales.

  • Assisting in advising a contractor on tender documentation for a major road upgrade project in Victoria.

  • Assisting in advising an international investment company on potential claims arising from its purchase of renewable energy assets in Australia.

  • Assisting in advising an international contractor in respect of claims arising from the construction of rail infrastructure in New South Wales, including preparing submissions on delay, variation and defect claims, preparing lay witness evidence and briefing technical experts.

  • Assisting in the conduct of proceedings in the Supreme Court of Victoria on behalf of a managing contractor in relation to a prison complex, including drafting court documents, preparing witness statements, and undertaking a large-scale electronic discovery process

  • Undertaking a contract review and assisting in advising an international contractor in relation to a potential defence contract in Australia.

  • Providing advice on various issues, including breach of contract claims, misleading and deceptive conduct claims, liquidated damages and quantum meruit.

  • Assisting in preparing submissions in relation to adjudication applications under security of payment legislation.

  • Assisting in briefing and instructing Counsel in relation to court proceedings.
