Brigid Lloyd has specialised in construction law since qualification, and practises primarily in the area of dispute resolution and dispute avoidance, acting for a broad range of principal and contractor clients.
Brigid's contentious work focuses on issues such as delay, defective works, default and termination, and claims arising under trade practices legislation in a contractual context.
Brigid's non-contentious experience includes the negotiation and drafting of both construction and general commercial agreements for Australian and international clients, particularly in relation to defence industry tenders, and advising on risk management strategies and drafting in the negotiation of major construction projects.
